Hey momma, I love you, you are awesome! Thanks for everything!
It's good to hear about your week and to know you are okay! I'm ecstatic for this upcoming week because we will have a lot of appointments and stuff all planned out! So this past week kinda sucked honestly, we had a lot of appointments drop and we definitely learned the importance of humility and putting the Lords will first! The farther I go in the mission the more I learn what I need to do! I heard this really great comparison this week. A kid asks his father how big an airplane is when it is flying far away, the father said it was really small because it was far away. Later, the dad showed the kid an airplane when it was up close and the kid was shocked to see how enormous it really was! The dad told him that God is the same way! When we are far away, He looks small, when we are close He is giant! I love this comparison!
I love you guys and want you to know that you guys are important to me,
because you are close to me! Have a splendid week!

Week 79
Hey mom! How are you?
Sorry I didn't email, I think the servers were down for my ldsmail in Europe so no one sent emails home I guess! We did have to lead zone conference and it was a bit stressful, not going to lie, but it all worked out okay! Anyway, we have been working nonstop! In fact I had to buy new white shirts because mine were all starting to get a grungy from walking around all of the time! We do have a bit of flexibility in traveling and what not but still pretty normal missionary stuff! There was a baptism in our ward that went really well. There are 6 missionaries in this ward which is awesome! 4 Anziani and 2 Sorelle! We are rooming with another set of Elders, so 4 of us in the apartment, but for zone conference we had 16 in our apartment which was insane because we only have one shower and not enough hot water. Hahah!
Anyway this week was also a little crazy because we got accused by someone in the bishopric for having some sort of relationship with one our investigator that we weren't supposed to but in reality we have just been working so well and she has been making so much progress that she needed the help. So instead of asking us about the situation he asked the sisters in our ward and they had to call the assistants and president. Later in the week the
assistants, including one of the elders who just got done serving here
in Catania, called us and asked why this report had come in to them
that we had some relationship with our investigator. He knew the
situation and totally understands why we have been teaching her and
stuff so he was completely on our side. Now we just have to clarify
tomorrow with this ward member the situation. There are soo many issues that we are constantly dealing with! There is always something to worry about!
I love you guys so much you're awesome!

Week 77
Hey mom! I just wanted to start by saying i love you!
My trip down to Catania was great! We got to travel with a bunch of people including greenies. Mostly italian greenies. When I finally got to Catania, around 6pm, it started pouring rain so bad that we all got
soaking wet and everyone was freaking out! So, I told everyone to calm
down and wait in the station until the storm passed, it passed about
30 minutes later and everyone was able to get home just fine. When I
got home I realized the house was very dirty because of all the
people that had been staying there, 16 people! So before I unpacked
anything I got on my hands and knees and started cleaning the bathroom
and the kitchen and the other rooms. I noticed that if the house was
going to be clean I had to be the first one to set the example. My
bags are now unpacked and our house is in order. My roommates are
great guys. Its honestly hard to keep tabs on everything that is going
on with everyone in the house, but its great!

Moving on to the work. So this week we picked up 3 new investigators by miracle! We were walking and this lady stopped us who had known the missionaries, then her three friends started asking all of these questions so we taught them all about the gospel and the restoration, they were really interested and want to meet again! This week as well I was able to meet three or four other investigators with baptismal dates which was amazing.! Two of
them were crying during the lesson because they were overwhelmed with
the Spirit! It was honestly amazing. I already love these people so
much and I am really greatful for the work that Anziano Toronto did
here in Catania to prepare them for baptism!

My companion is named Anziano Stanley, he is from Utah and is one of the nicest people I have ever met! Here in Catania, there is a University so there are a lot of people and students! It's really great because these people are open to learning new things and it is great. Being a zone leader is really not
too different you just have a lot of responsibility to set the bar!
Well I love you guys lots make sure to send pictures next week!
